Designed to Use Tissue as a Filter
Tissue is a better filter material than the plastic foam rubber of other nasal aspirator brands. Why? Because tissue is absorbent, biodegradeable, always available and free! Tissue also has a much smaller pore size (by a factor of about 100!) than plastic foam rubber. That means the mucus and liquid droplets are getting stopped and absorbed by the tissue and not passing through.
Think twice about adding more plastic to the landfill - choose the aspirator with the tissue filter! For optimal performance, we recommend using about a square of tissue.
