Spectra Wide Breast Flange/Shield 1pc is a single wide breast shield that comes in 4 sizes. It is strategically constructed to provide efficient breast pumping sessions with maximum comfort. This product can be used as a replacement part.
To obtain the proper suction during pumping, the Spectra Single Breast Shield funnel centers over your nipple to create a seal around the areola. The Spectra Single Breast Shield creates a vacuum to draw the nipple inside the funnel gently, to extract milk.
Compatibility: Compatible with Spectra S1, S2, S3 and S9 Plus Breast Pumps, For use with Spectra Wide Neck Bottles or other Wide-Neck Bottles with the same thread.
Contains 1x Wide Breast Flange only. You will require 2 if you are double pumping.

A flange that is too small or too large can cause:

- low milk expression
- redness of the nipple
- nipple turning white
- ring around nipple
- plugged ducts base
Note: Do not measure your nipples while pregnant. Always measure both breasts, they may not necessarily be the same size. Also, your flange size may change after your milk supply is well-established, approximately 10 weeks postpartum.
