Maymom MyFit Breast Shield for Spectra/Medela is a breast shield for Medela pumps (Pump in Style Original/Advanced, Lactina, Symphony only) and Spectra breast pumps (S1, S2, M1, Spectra 9, Dual Compact and Synergy Gold S). It requires the Maymom Narrow Neck Base Connector for Medela to connect to the Medela pumps. This breast shield can also be used with Medela PersonalFit Connector, the new Medela Flex Connector! It requires the Maymom Wide Neck Base Connector for Spectra to connect to Spectra pumps. Maymom two-part connector and shield system allows you to use just one Maymom connector while giving you the option to customise between different flange nipple sizes suitable for you.

How to choose the right size of breastshields for you?
The inner diameter of the breastshield (B) should be 1-2 mm larger than the diameter of your nipple (N) AFTER a pumping session or 3-5 mm BEFORE a pumping session. You should be able to see free movement of your nipple during pumping and there should be little or no suction of the areola into the tunnel of the breastshield.
When it comes to pumping comfort, every millimeter counts. That is why we design a series of breastshields of small increment sizes. Maymom MyFit breastshields are available in many different sizes (refer to dropdown selection for range of available sizes) to fit the majority of breast pumping mothers.
