Heliocare Ultra-D Oral Capsules is a unique formula oral supplement that provides photoprotection from the inside with vitamin D. With high content in Fernblock®, which increases the skin’s resistance to the sun from the first capsule as well as neutralises and repairs sun damage. Also help to reduce Polymorphic Light Eruption (PLE) – a red, blotchy skin reaction to the sun. Homogeneous protection is achieved in combination with topical photoprotection, for hard-to-reach areas (scalp, eyes, ears, etc). Its complete formula includes vitamins D, C and E, lutein and lycopene. Gluten-free.\

Why Ultra D?
Vitamin D is essential for healthy bones, and we get most of ours from sunlight. Sunscreen products can reduce the sun's adverse effects, but it also inhibits the body's production of vitamin D. With Ultra D, it contains 5µg of Vitamin D to help replenish reduced Vitamin D when you use sunscreen products.
How to use?
Take one capsule in the morning when spending extended periods outdoors in the daylight. Heliocare Oral Supplements aren't a replacement for the use of topical sun protection. Use in combination with the application of your favourite Heliocare® 360° Cream or Gel.
Don't exceed the stated recommended daily consumption. Food supplements shouldn't be used as a substitute for a varied and balanced diet and healthy lifestyle.

Formulated with 480mg of the key ingredient, Fernblock®, it has the excellent antioxidant property to reduce free radicals by up to 50%, preventing the formation of hyperpigmentation caused by UV rays. Heliocare Ultra Oral also protects the entire skin surface, increasing the skin’s resistance against sunburn by up to 300%. The protection from Fernblock® also slows down skin ageing by up to 55% through the inhibition of collagen depletion caused by UVA. Fernblock® has been extensively researched in Harvard Medical School for more than 12 years.

Daylight protection:
Many of us reach for sunscreen when it’s sunny, but did you know that UVA, visible light and infrared-A can damage your skin all year round? All these rays are emitted by the sun and are powerful enough to penetrate clouds and glass - so even on the cloudiest days, our skin is still at risk.
Visible light and infrared-A protection:
Visible light and infrared-A have also been shown to cause damage to the skin and lead to premature skin ageing. Heliocare contains a Biosheild system that protects skin against visible light - like our own melanin, but much more powerful - and combats damage specifically caused by infrared-A.
UV protection
Heliocare products contain a combination of mineral and non-mineral filters to absorb and scatter the sun’s rays.
