Dual Insulation Technology
OmieBox uses two types of insulation in order to store hot & cold food together. At the heart of the design is a powerful vacuum insulated thermos. It’s made of two walls of stainless steel with the air sucked out in between so heat can’t escape. It can keep food warm for up to 6 hours, perfect for hot lunch. Food is kept cool through OmieBox’s double walled, air insulated tray. Air is an excellent insulator (think styrofoam or double pane windows - both use air insulation).

What's New in the Redesigned OmieBox?

- Better Insulation: thermos keeps food warmer, longer.
- Easy To Open and Close: the sealing system is completely redesigned so the seal sits on the bottom tray instead of the top lid. This makes the lid super easy to open - kids can do it with one hand. The seal is also much easier to disassemble for cleaning.
- Updated Colors: same 5 colors, but updated for a more modern feel. The SKU and UPC codes remain the same.
Other changes:
- The thermos lid can now be screwed into the thermos directly, without the securing insert (the square piece)
- There is a small hole near the handle. This hole houses a microscopic GORE-TEX membrane which prevents trapped air from deforming OmieBox. The membrane only works in 1 direction, so while air can pass, it will not allow water or debris to enter OmieBox. Please do not try to poke the hole with sharp objects as this will damage the membrane.

Is OmieBox BPA free?
Yes, OmieBox is BPA free and meets all FDA and CPSIA safety requirements.

OmieBox is responsibly made in China.
Is OmieBox Leakproof?
- Yes. OmieBox has three leak-proof compartments that can hold up to 1 teaspoon of liquid each. Wet foods (soup, yogurt, dressing) should go inside the thermos.
- Sub-sections created by using the divider are not leak-proof. The divider just meant to separate the peas from the carrots.

Is OmieBox microwave safe?
No, please do not place OmieBox in the microwave.
