How to Choose the Right Funnel Size
Selecting the correct funnel size is crucial for effective and comfortable pumping. Here's how to determine the right size:

When to Use a Smaller Funnel

If too much areolar tissue is being pulled into the funnel, the size is too large. Switch to a smaller funnel to avoid discomfort and ensure proper suction.

When to Use a Larger Funnel

If the nipple feels tight or constricted in the funnel tube, the size is too small. Using a funnel smaller than your nipple size can cause pain, nipple injury, and improper milk extraction.

The Ideal Fit

The funnel should provide enough space for the nipple to move freely without excessive areolar tissue being drawn into the tube.
A proper fit prevents discomfort, ensures efficient milk flow, and protects the breasts and nipples.

Note: Using a well-fitting funnel improves your pumping experience, making it more comfortable and effective by avoiding unnecessary pressure or squeezing on the breasts and nipples.
