Directions

Apply shampoo to wet hair, massage gently into a lather and rinse.

Liquorice - Glycyrrhiza glabra

An active ingredient is derived from Liquorice root: dipotassium glycyrrhizate, which is rich in saponins (glycerine), in flavonoids, coumarins, triterpenoids, essential oil and other substances. It has anti-irritant, calming and softening properties to treat the hair and scalp.

Glycyrrhetinic acid is used in cosmetics for its healing, anti-inflammatory and decongestant properties, in the form of emulsions, talc and also in toothpaste.

Saw Palmetto - Serenoa Serrulata

Many studies have been proven that this extract can inhibit the 5 Alpha-reductase enzyme, which causes androgenetic alopecia. Thanks to this action, its extract is used in cosmetics in products which prevent or treat hair loss. Furthermore, its sebum-regulating properties make it an active ingredient to consider in formulations for greasy hair and skin.

As sabal is rich in sugars and high molecular weight polysaccharides, it retains water on skin, acting as a hydrating and protective agent. In addition to being lipid-rich, its fruit contains other constituents, such as tannins, amino acids, essential oil and resin.

Soya - Glycine max

Soya extract is rich in carbohydrates, proteins, vitamins and minerals. It is used in cosmetics as a hair conditioner, due to its anti-breakage properties and its ability to hydrate and protect hair fibres. Its isoflavones protect hair colour from oxidisation.

In phytotherapy, Soya has been used in hormone replacement therapies during the menopause and as an adjuvant in osteoporotic processes, again, thanks to its isoflavone content.

Wheat - Triticum Vulgare

Wheat germ is the most nutritious part of Wheat and is used in cosmetic products due to its softening, hydrating and conditioning properties. Wheat Germ contains protein, carbohydrates, lipids, vitamin E, glucides, lecithin, mineral salts and trace elements. Its revitalising, stimulating and strengthening action helps to combat hair loss.

Thanks to its proteins, it is used in cosmetics to provide hydration and improve skin elasticity. As a hair conditioner, it softens and protects hair colour from oxidisation and solar radiation.

Caffeine - Coffea arabica L.

Its cosmetic properties include its positive effects such as stimulating circulation. Therefore, it is used in tonics, slimming and anti-cellulite products and in hair products which stimulate the scalp. It is also extensively used as an antioxidant against ageing processes, protection against solar radiation and for maintaining hair colour.
