Tips
PRELOAD
Scooping is hard. Start with working on hand-mouth connection by preloading the grabease fork and spoon with food for your lil one.
BABY SEE, BABY DO
Place utensils preloaded on your lil oneβs table and donβt try to hand it to them. Sit next to them and eat something using your own utensils. These little curious creatures will most likely reach out to the utensils on their own and start exploring. Give them time!
LET THEM BE MESSY
Children explore through touching. Mashing food supports their sensory development. Let them play with their food. You can engage with them by asking if the food feels good, is it also yummy?
