Hatomugi essence extracted from Hatomugi contains 12 amino acids. Amino acids are the main components of the natural moisturizing factor (NMF) naturally present in skin. It is an essential component for maintaining the normal barrier function, shielding the skin from dryness and external irritants. Rich in amino acids, Hatomugi essence supplements NMF. As a beauty ingredient, it supports the skin’s barrier function leading to enhanced moisture retention.
How to use:
1. As moisturiser
Apply after cleansing, and before serum or moisturizer. Pour a quarter-size amount of lotion into the palm. Gently pat on your skin. Recommended to repeat 3 times for deeper hydrating effect. When you feel your skin is cool, it’s a sign that enough moisture is restored in your skin.
2. As a sheet mask
Use it as a sheet mask, letting better penetrate into the skin. Soak cotton sheets with Hatomugi skin lotion. Leave sheets on for 3 minutes or remove before sheets get dry.
3. As a toner
By applying it immediately after cleansing skin, you will improve the effectiveness of the skincare that follows.
4. For body
Since it is not sticky, it is also recommended for body skin care, such as after sunbathing or after taking a bath or shower.
